Edit an Existing Team Habit

How to Edit a Team Habit that has previously been created

Updated over a month ago

This article is meant to help people trying to edit an existing Team Habit. If your team doesn't yet have a Habit set up, here's an article on how to do that.

Really great Habits aren't made to last forever; as time passes your team may improve and previous issues aren't relevant, its priorities may change, or team members themselves join and leave. Whatever the reason, eventually you'll want to revisit older Habits to make changes. Change is good and keeps things from getting monotonous!

To make changes to an existing Team Habit:

  1. Click "Habits" on the left-hand side

  2. Select "Team Habits"

  3. From the "select a team" dropdown, make sure you've selected the appropriate team

  4. On the bottom right corner of the Habit you want to change, click "edit habit"

This brings you to a page that's similar to the one that you saw when setting the Habit up. From here you can add new questions, edit existing ones, or remove older ones you don't need anymore. You can also change the timing or recipient list.

Note: You cannot change the question type for a specific Habit statement once it has been set up. This would result in inconsistent reporting.

4. Click the Save/Launch Habits button to save your changes.

That's it! Time for a refreshing change.
