A list of common issues you might face, and some quick solutions!

You might just be getting started on your leadership coaching journey with Nadia - and we want it to be snag-free! But, in case you find yourself facing technical issues, this is a list of common issues and solutions you can check first. In case your issue is not covered here, please email us at hi@valence.co and we will find a solution.

The microphone is not picking up my voice

What might happen: Sometimes if you are speaking but Nadia 'hallucinates' and does not pick up what you said, you might get a response like "Thank you" or "Thanks for sharing". This might also look like you saying something, but then all that is transcribed is the word "you".

Solution: This can happen sometimes if your microphone is having technical issues - the most common example is if it’s already in use by another program on your computer. If this happens, try speaking your message again, but if that still doesn’t work, you can always try typing instead or even restarting your computer. But the next time you come back, try voice again; chances are the issue will resolve itself after a restart.

Nadia is not answering in my language

What might happen: You might be speaking your language, but Nadia might reply in English or may detect a different language (languages are complex and can be related).

Solution: Just tell Nadia the language you wish to speak, and it will adjust in the following message. If this does not work, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Go to 'Your Profile' in the main menu.

  2. Scroll to the bottom and select your preferred language.

Nadia is taking too long to respond

What might happen: Nadia might be taking longer than usual to respond.

Solution: Your internet connection might be a common cause. Disabling any VPNs that are activated can be helpful, and resetting your wifi would also help. But if the issue persists, please reach out to our team for troubleshooting (hi@valence.co).
